Biography

I'm a brazilian born in Salvador Bahia and an entusiastic of a holistic view for life in all its aspects. I've been developing my studies and work based in a multidisciplinary background that brings me a wider perspective for the Futures Studies and its appliability.

Education

I'm a PhD and Master on Maritime Studies at the Brazilian Naval War College Post-Graduation Programme (PPGEM) focusing in Scenarios Planning and Decision making. I'm a Lawyer graduated in 2014 by the brazilian Fluminense Federal University, with a final work on the relationshiop between China and Brazil.

Current roles

I'm the founder and COE at Lab F+, working on applying futute-based participatory tools and process to help organizations to foster their role as positive social change agents.

Under the Lab I have been collaborating with Toriba Institute and the Industries Federation of ceará (BR)'s Industry Observatory. 

​

I'm a Visiting Research Associate in King's College London Department of War Studies.

 

I'm a research at the Brazilain Naval War Lab of Simulation and Scenarios under the Defence Futures Seeds Monitoring Network Project.

​

Under my PhD research I developed a Participation Model to be applied in the Scenarios process developed in the Brazilian Defence sector Strategic planning system.

 

Experiences

Duing my professional life I had experiences on providing methodological consultancy, developing and coordinating Futures Literacy courses, technical-cientific events, festivals, and informational materials, leading research teams, teaching and speaching on Futures Methodology, and facilitating workshops in the area.​

​

I have two open-source books on Methods and Tools for Futures Research, supported by the Brazilian Naval War College (EGN).​

​

I've been working in differents projects for the EGN's Lab of Simulations and Scenarios since 2018, both as a consultant and as a researcher.

 

And, in the Industry Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro, I've worked for the Casa Firjan Trends Lab as an Analyst on Business Content and Innovation.
